Dare to love

Red: A striking and distinctive colour with many symbolic meanings including vigour, power, courage, anger, love, and fervour to represent the kind of woman that can stitch her wounds, carve her path and walk among the competition without fear. She can be described as assertive, independent, poised, seemingly invulnerable and “in her element”. It is a story that explores emotive expressions of love told episodically through a series of imagery, each represented by one of three colours - Blue, Red & Pink.

This shoot took place in Barry with a rough and textured background emphasising the strength of a woman's endurance. The model is in all red to symbolise her embodiment of the fearless fighter instinct she possesses. The imagery aims to evoke intimacy through the vibrant red colour, atmosphere and her character as symbolised throughout the shoot.
