The Taste of Africa event was organised by Sharon Kostini together with the African Welsh News organisation. The event took place at ‘The Creative Plug Cymru gallery in the Capitol Centre which is also run by Sharon. She's also the founder of ‘The Creative Plug Cymru and Curated by Sian Holley & Pirate alongside with a handful of volunteers. The Taste Of Africa Event is the begining of experiencing, celebating & learning about African cultures, food, fashion, music and dance.This Taste of Africa project is dedicated to celebrating the influence of Afro-Caribbean culture in Wales. From the colourful prints to the music and food all have influenced greatly the lives of so many people across the continent. Wales welcomes thousands of ethnic groups each year and many of them find themselves feeling at home. The foreign land is not so foreign anymore as the lines blur and lives become less intricate.
